Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), commonly known as Dyspraxia, is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain plans, coordinates, and carries out movement. Children with dyspraxia may have difficulty with activities such as handwriting, tying shoes, using utensils, riding a bicycle, participating in sports, or learning new motor skills. These challenges are not caused by a lack of intelligence or effort—they reflect differences in how the brain processes movement.
