Meet The Team

THE PEOPLE BEHIND NEUROFIT CONNECTIONS

Meet the NeuroFiT Connections Team

A Small Team With a Very Personal Approach

At NeuroFiT Connections, getting to know you or your child is an important part of what we do. We’re a small, hands-on team committed to understanding each person’s unique strengths, challenges, goals, and the brain and body functions that may be making everyday life harder.

From your first conversation and Brain & Body Assessment through personalized training and progress reviews, you’ll work with people who know you, know your program, and care about your progress.

We don’t build programs around diagnoses—we build them around people.

Jackie and Tim NeuroFit Team

More Than a Team… A Family.

NeuroFiT Connections was built around a simple idea: people make the greatest progress when they feel understood, supported, and valued as individuals.

That starts with our own team. We bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to NeuroFiT, but we share a common purpose—helping children, adults, and families better understand the challenges they’re facing and the strengths they can build upon.

Because we’re a small, hands-on team, the people you meet at the beginning of your NeuroFiT journey are the same people who get to know your story, celebrate your progress, and help adjust the path along the way.

To us, you’re never just an appointment on the schedule. You become part of the NeuroFiT family.

Meet the NeuroFiT Team

Our team brings together different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, united by a shared interest in understanding how the brain and body work together. Most importantly, we take the time to get to know the individual behind the challenges.

Dr. Timothy Beck, Co-founder and Center Manager
Dr. Timothy Beck, Ph.D.

Founder & Manager

Dr. Timothy Beck is Co-Founder and Center Manager of NeuroFiT Connections. He works closely with families and adults throughout their NeuroFiT journey—from that first conversation and Brain & Body Assessment through reviewing results, understanding program recommendations, and tracking progress along the way.

Dr. Beck brings an analytical, problem-solving perspective to NeuroFiT Connections and is passionate about looking beyond diagnostic labels to understand the individual. Rather than asking only what someone is struggling with, he believes an equally important question is why that particular skill may be so difficult for that particular person.

One of his favorite parts of NeuroFiT Connections is helping parents and adults connect the dots between what they experience in everyday life and what the assessment reveals about how the brain and body are working together.

For Dr. Beck, the diagnosis may help describe the challenge. Understanding the individual is where the real work begins.

Coach Jackie at her desk
Coach Jackie

Founder & Lead Coach

Jackie Beck is Co-Founder and Lead Cognitive Coach at NeuroFiT Connections. Her background includes leadership and coaching, holistic wellness, fitness, nutrition, and years of hands-on experience working with children and adults facing developmental, learning, behavioral, sensory, and movement challenges.

Her interest in the connection between the brain, body, movement, learning, and behavior led her to pursue additional education and training in functional neurology and brain development, including training influenced by the work of Dr. Robert Melillo.

Today, Jackie works directly with children and adults during Brain & Body Assessments and personalized training sessions. She has a particular ability to meet people where they are—adjusting activities to the individual’s abilities, challenges, personality, and progress while still encouraging them to reach for that next level.

For Jackie, success isn’t simply completing an exercise. It’s seeing the skills developed at NeuroFiT begin to make everyday life easier.

Coach Madison

Cognitive Coach

Madison Yurko is a Cognitive Coach at NeuroFiT Connections, where she works directly with children and adults throughout their personalized Brain & Body Training programs.

Before joining NeuroFiT Connections, Madison gained professional experience working with The Shingle Master. Today, she brings that experience along with her natural ability to connect with people into a very different environment—helping clients work through individualized activities designed around the areas identified during their Brain & Body Assessment.

Madison works closely with the NeuroFiT team to adapt activities to each individual’s abilities, challenges, and progress. She creates an encouraging environment where clients can be challenged, experience success, build confidence, and keep moving toward the next level.

One of Madison’s strengths is getting to know the person behind the program. She recognizes that progress doesn’t always happen in big, dramatic moments—sometimes it’s a movement that becomes easier, a task that requires less effort, or a skill that begins showing up outside the NeuroFiT center.

For Madison, every session is an opportunity to help someone build stronger skills and discover more of what they’re capable of.

Different Backgrounds. One Shared Philosophy.

Timothy, Jackie, and Madison each bring different experiences, strengths, and perspectives to NeuroFiT Connections. But when it comes to the people we work with, we share one fundamental philosophy: understand the individual first.

A diagnosis can provide valuable information, but it doesn’t tell us everything about how a particular person’s brain and body are functioning. That’s why we look beyond the label to explore the cognitive, sensory, motor, timing, coordination, reflex, and other functional areas that may be contributing to the challenges someone experiences every day.

What we learn helps guide a personalized Brain & Body Training program designed around the individual—not simply the diagnosis.

We don’t build programs around diagnoses—we build them around people.
